The abbot and convent of Valle Crucis requested remedy regarding their rights in the weir of Overton, granted to them by Madoc ap Griffin and which was now in the king's hands since they had been disseised of this by Crevecoeur.
They also asked that Havering be given power to amend, try and terminate all manner of trespasses against them since they had hitherto beern compelled to seek out the king for remedy.
