Gwladus (Gwladys)

The daughter of Dafydd Gam ap Llywelyn of Llantilio Crossenny and first wife of Roger Vaughan of Bredwardine, who were both killed at the Battle of Agincourt in 1415, fighting for Henry V. Gwladus later married the knight, William ap Thomas, who was responsible for rebuilding Raglan Castle.

William and Gwladus were patrons of Abergavenny Priory where they were both buried; their fine alabaster tomb can still be seen in the church of St Mary's.
