Henry de Beaumont (Newburgh) , earl of Warwick

Died: 1119   

William the Conqueror made Henry the first earl of Warwick in 1088. He gained extensive lands and in 1107 Henry I rewarded him for his loyalty with the marcher lordship of Gower. c. 1118 he left England and entered the monastery of St Pierre-des-Préaux, Normandy, where he died 20 June 1119.
