pre 1282Foundation - According to the sixteenth-century antiquary, John Leland (d. 1552), there was a Cistercian house at Clynnog Fawr that was later a collegiate church. However more substantial evidence for its Cistercian identity is lacking.  [2 sources]
pre 1291Dissolution - By 1291 the house was a collegiate church and occupied by five prebendaries. [2 sources]
