People's Collection Wales - image of alabaster angel, Abergavenny, c.1450

The angel originally formed part of the magnificent tomb of Sir William ap Thomas and his second wife, Gwladus ferch Dafydd Gam, in St Mary's priory church, Abergavenny. The tomb, along with many others, can still be visited in the church.
